Police and ambulance are alerted to a multi-family house in Ängelholm due to a person injured in the stairwell.

Police patrol goes to the scene and finds an injured man in an adjacent apartment. The man is taken to hospital by ambulance.

It is currently unclear what caused the man's injuries. A report of attempted murder has been filed to investigate the circumstances.

No one has been arrested in the matter.

The relevant apartment is cordoned off, a technical investigation is underway.
