July 1, 07.34, Summary of the night, Västernorrland County

Here follow a selection of the night's events:

23.27 Fire, Härnösand:
Alarm about a fire in a gravel container, Murberget. There are no reports of anyone being injured in connection with the incident. A police patrol is ordered to the scene and they establish a report regarding damage caused by fire. There is no suspect in the case.

00.35 Wildlife accident, Örnsköldsvik:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a car and an elk on county road 352, Peresjö. No personal injuries are reported. It is unclear how the elk fared and a tracker is called out.

03.10 Break-in, Sundsvall:
Police go to a hair salon in Stenstan due to a suspected break-in. Damage has been done to a window in the entrance door. People have been seen leaving the scene. Police are searching the area and in connection with this, suspected stolen goods are found. A crime scene investigation will be carried out. There is no suspect in the case.

Other:
Four people have been taken into custody for intoxication.

Police have also carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
