Here follow a selection of the night's events:

22.16 Narcotics offence, Umeå:
Via control of a man in central Umeå a small amount of suspected narcotics is found, which is seized. A report regarding minor narcotics offence (possession) is drawn up.

22.22 Fire, Nordmaling:
Alarm about a fire in a row house, Nordmaling. It is said to be burning in the kitchen. People who were in the house are taken to healthcare for control. There are no reports of any serious injuries. The fire is investigated as gross negligence.

23.16 Wildlife accident, Skellefteå:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a car and a deer on E4/county road 824, Tjärn. No personal injuries are reported. It is unclear how the deer fared and a tracker is called out.

00.28 Narcotics offence, Umeå:
Via control of a man in the east part of town a small amount of suspected narcotics is found, which is seized. A report regarding minor narcotics offence (possession) is drawn up.

06.56 Traffic accident, Skellefteå:
A report is received of a traffic accident on Kanalgatan/Nordlandergatan in central Skellefteå. A driver and a cyclist are said to be involved. Police patrol is ordered to the scene.
Update 07.47: The cyclist is taken to healthcare by ambulance with unknown injury status.

Other:
Police have handled a matter during the night in a residence in Umeå where a man and a woman who have a relationship with each other have argued/fought. A report and a counter-report regarding assault are drawn up. Neither of the parties involved have required healthcare. The man is taken into custody according to the Law on the Care of Intoxicated Persons.

Police have also carried out several checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
