A free police officer passes a car that has driven off the road at the intersection of Stekelgatan and Tallmätargatan in Västerås. According to the free police officer, a man, who is probably the driver of the vehicle, is trying to hide from the reporter.

When a police patrol arrives at the scene, the man is found to have left the scene on foot. With the help of a dog, the police can track the man back to the current vehicle.

When the patrol suspects that the man is intoxicated, he is taken in for a blood test. The man, who is in his 40s, is suspected of gross drunk driving and minor drug offenses, personal use.
