The police receive information that a man allegedly assaulted another man at a hotel in Söderhamn. A police patrol is alerted to the location and finds the assaulted man there. The patrol can also confirm that the interior has been damaged in connection with the incident. The man who committed the assault has left the scene.

The patrol holds an interrogation with witnesses and subsequently, a man is brought in for questioning at the police station.

A report of assault and vandalism is drawn up and the police will investigate the incident further.
