During the day, a police patrol has apprehended a man suspected of having committed an assault on a close relative. The suspected person is in their 20s and an interrogation will be conducted, and the suspicion will be communicated.

A number of investigative measures have been taken and will be carried out, all in accordance with a special routine when a case of violence in a close relationship is being investigated.

There is a lack of information about any possible injury and whether the injured party has been forced to seek acute medical care.

The prosecutor will make a decision after being briefed on what has been found in the case about possibly further detention of the suspected man, and then in the form of detention or that the man will be released on bail during the course of the investigation.
