Police are ordered to an inner courtyard on Västra Ågatan in central Uppsala after a shop controller intervened in a minor theft from a shop on Stora Torget.

When the shop controller confronted the person, this person is supposed to have run from the scene and a shorter foot chase ensued.

The person who was apprehended by the controller is said to have acted with violence at the time of the intervention. No information about personal injuries.

The person was handed over to a guardian and the patrol sets up a report regarding minor theft, violence against an official, and violent resistance.
