Police regional command center has handled a number of 60 cases related to Östergötland County between 22:00 and 07:00.

Norrköping, Attempted theft through burglary
At 00:00, police were alerted to southern Norrköping's urban area, where two people were seen at a preschool. On the scene, the patrol team discovered scratch marks on several doors. No perpetrators were present. After a short search, including the use of a dog, two men were found nearby. One of the men had some kind of tool in a bag.
One of the men, aged 30, was taken into custody in accordance with the Law on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons. He is suspected of drug offenses and attempted theft through burglary. 
The other man, aged 25, is suspected of drug offenses, attempted theft through burglary, and serious offense against the knife law.

Traffic offense, Linköping
At 02:00, police were alerted to a car driving on the wrong side of the road on Malmslättsvägen in Linköping. The police conducted a check on the car and seized the driver's license. The driver, a 25-year-old man, is now suspected of gross negligence in traffic. 
Police have also handled cases of wildlife accidents and cases related to mental health, as well as performed routine checks on their own initiative or in response to public alarm.
