The general public is alarmed that a person has been shot in Husby at the same time as a patrol happens to be in the vicinity and can act immediately.
The swift action enables a suspected perpetrator to be quickly brought under control and apprehended, but before this occurs, the perpetrator shoots at the police. The patrol also fires back. Whether the suspected perpetrator or the police are injured in the shootout, however, is unclear.
The initial victim is an adult man. He has been shot indoors, and the police are currently not commenting on the extent of his injuries.
