All the public is alarmed that a person has been shot in Husby at the same time as a patrol happens to be in the vicinity and can act immediately. 
The swift action makes it possible to quickly gain control of a suspected perpetrator and apprehend him, but before this occurs, the perpetrator shoots at the police. The patrol also fires back. Whether the suspected perpetrator or the police are injured in the shootout, however, is unclear. 

The initial victim is an adult man. He has been shot indoors and the police are not commenting on the extent of his injuries at present. 
The incident contains several different parts that need to be investigated by the cordoning off of the area, which is extensive. 

Update 5:30 PM
The private individual who was shot has died from his injuries. It involves a man aged 65 and his next of kin have been notified. 
The crimes being investigated are currently murder, serious weapons offense, and attempted murder. Attempted murder refers to the suspected perpetrator allegedly shooting at the police. 
The municipal district administration has opened the citizen's office where members of the public who need support or feel concerned can go.
