Police regional command center has handled around 70 cases related to Östergötland County between 22:00 and 07:00.

Explosions, Linköping: Several alarms about explosions in the vicinity of Ryd arrive at the police at 22:15. A number of police resources search Rydsskogen and the surrounding area, but cannot find anything unusual. Reports indicate that in connection with the explosions, a light glow was seen in the sky. The explosions are currently believed to have been caused by fireworks.

Assault, Norrköping
At 00:30, the police are alerted to a suspected fight in a residence in Norrköping. Upon arrival, two men are found, one of whom has some injuries. The other man is arrested, suspected of assault. The arrested man is later held in custody by the prosecutor during the night.

Offense against the Public Order Act, Norrköping
At 22:30, the police are alerted to Klockaretorpet in Norrköping due to high explosions being heard. Upon arrival, information emerges that suggests that young people have fired off fireworks. No person or building has been injured in connection with the incident. The incident is being investigated as an offense against the Public Order Act. There is no suspect at present.

In addition to this, the police have had cases involving public intoxication, traffic offenses, mental health issues, wildlife accidents, and various checks on their own initiative or following reports from the public.
