The Police is working to prevent and act against disorderly conduct and criminal actions before, during, and after the football match. The goal is to facilitate visitors and others affected. People should experience a pleasant, safe, and secure sports event with good order in connection with the football match and without more serious disorderly conduct in the city.
The Police's preparations for the match have been characterized by dialogue and cooperation with the organizer, Malmö City, the two football clubs, and various supporter groups. The Police is working long-term to strengthen the positive supporter culture and thereby reduce insecurity, crime, and disorderly conduct at sports events. Football and other sports events should be a welcoming and positive public festival for everyone.
Eleda Stadium is expected to be fully booked, and many Twente supporters are expected to visit Malmö. There will be a lot of people on the move - including around Lilla Torg and Gamla Väster, Centralplan, Möllevångstorget, and the area around the Stadium. Twente supporters have a meeting point at Lilla Torg.
In connection with supporters taking their way from different meeting points to Eleda Stadium, traffic disruptions may occur. The Police will be on site to prevent disorderly conduct and facilitate supporters and road users.
The match starts at 18:45. All who are going to watch the match at Eleda Stadium are encouraged to arrive in good time. The Police looks forward to a pleasant and exciting event, with good supporter culture and in the best sporting spirit.
