Police were called to an apartment in a multi-family house in Örebro where it was reported to be a fight between a man and a woman. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man and a woman in the apartment. The investigative measures led to the man being arrested as a suspect for allegedly assaulting the woman. The charge is gross assault.

The woman who had visible injuries did not require an ambulance transport.

After an interview with the suspect, the prosecutor will take a stance on whether he should be detained or released during the ongoing investigation.
