A pursuit began in Gränby after a driver chose not to stop at the police officer's signal. After a shorter time, the police were able to remove the relevant vehicle from the road and all four people traveling in it became suspects for a crime.

The driver became suspected of gross unlawful driving, gross carelessness in traffic, not stopping at the police officer's signal as well as minor narcotics crime and driving under the influence. The three passengers became suspected of minor narcotics crime.

All the people traveling in the car were men in their 20s.
