
It has been a quiet night in the region without any major events. Below follows a selection of cases we have handled.
Assault, Örebro at 00.15
A man in his 20s calls the police and says that he has hit his girlfriend, outdoors. The police have been on the scene and they suspect that the young man was under the influence of narcotics and he was taken with the patrol for a blood test. He is also suspected of assault. There is no information that the girlfriend, a girl in her 20s, has visited the emergency department.
Fire, Nora at 01.48
There has been a fire in a villa in Gyttorp. The police have been on the scene and they suspect nothing of a crime. No person was injured.
Burglary, Örebro at 04.11
Two men, one in his 35s and one in his 40s, are arrested as suspects for a break-in in a basement storage room in Sörby. Residents of the house discovered that there were people in the basement and they managed to lock in the suspected men until the police arrived. The two men are also suspected of narcotics offenses as the police find suspected narcotics on them.
In addition, we have among other things checked 11 people or vehicles, handled four wild animal accidents without personal injury and handled a case concerning mental health.
