Between 00:00-07:00, the police have checked a number of people and vehicles which have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime. In connection with a traffic control on Hertsövägen in Luleå, however, a driver was fined for speeding.

A wild animal accident (in Älvsbyn) and two collisions with reindeer (in Kiruna and Överkalix) have been reported to the police during the night. No personal injuries have been reported.
