An 80-year-old woman has been targeted by a scam in her home on Lidingö.
The woman calls the police and tells them that she has lost valuable items from her home on Lidingö.
She had received an SMS that was supposed to be from the payment service company Klarna. The woman was urged to call a phone number to "activate her account". When she calls the number, the person who answers says that they will send someone to her home "to weigh her gold".
A man comes to the woman's home and she hands over valuable items to him. He says that he has a scale in his car and that he will perform the weighing there. The man then disappears with the woman's valuable items.
The method used in the crime has similarities with another scam on Lidingö earlier in the evening.
