Vid 6 pm on Friday, a traffic accident with fatal outcome occurred at the Svista traffic intersection on E20 outside Eskilstuna. The accident has been investigated intensively and several people have been heard as witnesses. Now the picture of the sequence of events has cleared up. Earlier, it was stated that it was a collision accident where a person who was moving around a stationary car was struck and died. This is not correct. It is a single-vehicle accident where a driver lost control of the vehicle and drove off the road into a snowbank. In connection with the incident, the driver, who was traveling alone in the passenger car, was thrown out of the vehicle and onto the road. At present, there is no person suspected of committing a crime in connection with the incident. The accident will continue to be investigated.
