Several scams targeted at the elderly.

Some of the scams and attempted scams directed at elderly people in the county today:**

Sollentuna 13:33** An 80-year-old woman received an SMS that appeared to be from the handyman company "Clas fixare". It was about replacing a refrigerator. The woman had not ordered any such service and when she called back on the phone number in the SMS, she was connected to someone who claimed to be a police officer and told her to gather her gold. At this point, the woman received a visit from a relative and the call was terminated. The crime was never completed. The police took a report of attempted fraud.

Danderyd 14:27 Relatives of an 90-year-old woman called the police and reported that the woman had received a call from someone who claimed to work at "Klarna" the previous day. The person claimed that someone had made a purchase in the woman's name and that she might be a victim of fraud. A person then visited the woman and photographed her jewelry. It appears that nothing was stolen and the police wrote a report of attempted fraud.

Upplands Väsby 14:49 Like in Sollentuna earlier in the day, an 80-year-old woman received an SMS from (alleged) "Clas fixare" and this time it was about replacing a fridge. The woman then had phone contact with the people behind the SMS who in different ways tried to scare her by talking about the risk of a break-in and that she should gather her gold.
The woman instead called the police on 114 14 and reported attempted fraud.

Tumba 15:57 An 80-year-old woman was called by someone who claimed to work at "Nordea" and talked about fraud. A young man then visited her and photographed her jewelry. He left the scene with a significant amount of gold.
The police found out about the incident shortly after it happened and several patrols were engaged in trying to find the perpetrator but he was not located. The police wrote a report of serious fraud.

Vårby 16:43 An 65-year-old woman called the police and reported that she had received calls and visits from an unknown man who claimed to work at "Nordea" the previous day. He talked about helping her with some bills. But instead, he took her bank card from the scene and she has since discovered that 25,000 kronor has been missing from the account.

Tumba 18:02 The police contacted an 80-year-old woman. She had received SMS earlier in the day that appeared to be from "Klarna". A person who claimed to work at "Folksam" then visited her and collected her jewelry.
