The police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a number of 40 cases related to Södermanland County.

02:55 Police and rescue services were ordered to Stenby, Eskilstuna, due to a car fire at a property. When the police arrived, it turned out that the fire had spread from the car to a nearby garage. The rescue service was able to extinguish the fire and there are no reports of personal injuries. The police suspect that the fire may have been set and a report of arson and gross unlawful threats will be filed. The location is cordoned off for a forensic examination. There is no arrested or suspected person in the case.
