Alarm was received about a traffic accident on Dag Hammarskjöld's road in Rosendal. The police rushed to the scene where, according to initial reports, two people had been hit by a vehicle.

The accident occurred at a pedestrian crossing and the two people, who are in their 25-year age group, were taken to hospital by ambulance after the accident. The individuals were conscious but the extent of their injuries is unclear.

A report of causing bodily harm is being drawn up in order to investigate what happened.
