Reports came in about an 85-year-old woman being called by someone who claimed to be from a credit company, and then tried to persuade the woman to start a bank ID. The woman is said not to have lost any money.

The police were dispatched to the scene and a report of attempted fraud was made.

The police want to remind people that they should not start a bank ID or provide sensitive information on the request of an unknown person.
