Police are contacted by the public who observed someone using a weapon against a door at the back of a restaurant in Söderköping in the morning. After being confronted, the perpetrator is said to have left the scene in a car. The incident is currently classified as vandalism. A little later, a driver is checked nearby in central Norrköping. The driver, a man in his 30s, is arrested and taken to the police station. The police have performed a check of the car, which has since been seized. 

Update 12:07: The man who was arrested is also suspected of theft of a vehicle, which can be linked to the car theft mentioned in an earlier notice in the morning.
