Police patrol noticed minor theft.
On the afternoon of January 8, a police patrol was patrolling in central Skellefteå. Through a window, they could then see a man in a shop. The man is said to have then passed the cash register and made a gesture to show that he had not bought anything.
However, when the man came out, the police patrol could see that he had an object in his one thigh pocket that looked like a bottle.
The man, who is in his 70s, was confronted and after inspection was suspected of stealing a bottle of spirits from the shop.
A report of minor theft was drawn up. The case is handled according to the SLF procedure, Faster prosecution.
