Good morning. During New Year's Eve, the regional police headquarters east handled 250 cases related to Östergötland County. There was a large influx of calls. This has included reports of fireworks and the handling of intoxicated individuals. There have also been a number of calls regarding minor outdoor fires and reports of people shooting rockets at each other and buildings. No one has been seriously injured in connection with this, and during the investigation, no person could be found. Police patrols have worked proactively throughout the night to speak with people and with visibility.

A fire broke out inside a waste storage facility in the Skarphagen area. The fire did not spread to other buildings, but there is damage to a nearby bicycle storage. A report of arson through fire will be made. No one is suspected.
