Under early Sunday morning, the police were alerted about a single-vehicle accident on county road 827 in Örviken, Skellefteå. The police head to the scene and find the man suspected of driving the vehicle. He is taken for testing on suspicion of drunk driving. In connection with this, the man is said to have behaved threateningly towards the police.

He is taken into custody according to the LOB, the law on taking into custody intoxicated persons. The suspicion concerns gross drunk driving, gross illegal driving (as he lacks the authority to drive) as well as threatening a public official.
