Here follow a selection of the night's events:

01.13 Assault, Jokkmokk:
Police patrol is ordered to an address in central Jokkmokk due to some kind of disturbance/assault. A man is suspected of assaulting two other men. The patrol holds an interrogation with the involved parties and draws up a report.

01.26 Wildlife accident, Haparanda:
The police receive a report of an accident involving a car and an elk on county road 731 near Tossa. No personal injuries are reported.

01.37 Drunk driving, Piteå:
During a stop and check of an A-tractor, the driver blows positively in the police's screening instrument and is taken for a blood test. A report is drawn up regarding drunk driving.

03.12 Assault, Piteå:
Police are ordered to Djupviken due to some kind of disturbance/assault. A man is reported to have assaulted two other men. A report is drawn up regarding assault.

03.16 Assault, Luleå:
Police patrol is ordered to a fast food restaurant in Luleå due to a disturbance. A man suspected of assaulting another man is taken into custody in accordance with the Law on the Temporary Confiscation of Intoxicated Persons. A report is drawn up regarding minor assault.

04.03 Drunk driving, Luleå:
During a check of a car on Porsön, the driver blows positively in the police's screening instrument and is taken for a blood test. A report is drawn up regarding gross drunk driving. The driver's license and car keys are confiscated.

04.42 Drunk driving, Piteå:
During a stop and check of a car, the driver blows positively in the police's screening instrument and is taken for a blood test. A report is drawn up regarding drunk driving.

Other:

Four people have, in addition to the above, been taken into custody for intoxication and one person has been taken for a blood test due to suspicion of narcotics offenses.

The police have also carried out checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

Summary of the police's work in connection with Jokkmokk Market during the evening/night:

Police who have worked on site experience that it has been more chaotic during the evening/night compared to the previous evening/night.

A report of rape in a dwelling has resulted in a number of investigative measures during the evening/night. The case was reported to the police at 9 pm. The victim is a young woman. A suspected man in his mid-20s is initially arrested in his absence. He is later found by the patrol and is still arrested after contact with the prosecution. The police are continuing to work on investigative measures such as interrogations and forensic examination.

In addition to this, reports of assault have been drawn up.

Several affected minors have been found in the market stalls and the police have had contact with guardians and drawn up reports to the social services. One person has been taken into custody for intoxication. 

Several direct confiscations of alcohol have been made and fines for disorderly conduct through public urination have been issued.
