February 8, 08.05, Summary of the night, Västernorrland County

Here follow a selection of the night's events:

00.14 Wildlife accident, Sollefteå:
Police receive a report of an accident involving a car and an elk on county road 331, Graninge. No personal injuries are reported.

02.17 Wildlife accident, Örnsköldsvik: 
Police receive a report of an accident involving a car and a roe deer on county road 1086, Trehörningsjö. No personal injuries are reported.

02.50 Drunk driving, Örnsköldsvik:
During a stop and check of an A-tractor, the driver blows positively in the police's sorting instrument and is taken in for blood sampling. A report is made regarding drunk driving. The guardian is contacted and the driver's license is confiscated.

Other:
Nine people have been taken into custody for drunkenness. One of these is suspected of minor narcotics offenses (personal use).

Police have also carried out checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
