February 8, 08.04, Summary of the night, Västerbotten County

Here follow a selection of the night's events:

00.04 Assault, Umeå:
Police patrol is ordered to central Umeå due to a fight outside a pub involving two men. A complaint and a counter-complaint regarding assault are filed. One of the men is apprehended according to the Law on the Deprivation of Liberty of Intoxicated Persons.

01.16 Assault, Vilhelmina:
Police patrol is contacted about a fight/assault. Two men are reported to have assaulted a third. A complaint is filed and the injured man is given a ride by the patrol to medical care for examination.

01.21 Assault, Umeå:
Police are ordered to a pub in central Umeå where two men are reported to have harassed two women by taking their pictures. When another man confronted the two men, one of them assaulted him. The injured man is taken to medical care for examination. A complaint regarding assault and harassment is filed.

Other:
Five people have been apprehended for intoxication. Two of them are suspected of violent resistance in connection with the apprehension. One person has been taken in for a blood test due to suspicion of narcotics offense.

Police have also conducted checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
