February 7, 07.33, Summary of the night, Östergötland County

The police have handled a hundred or so incidents in Östergötland County between 10 PM and 7 AM. No serious violent crimes or serious incidents have come to the police's knowledge.

The traffic situation during the night has been good with only a handful of minor accidents related to slippery road conditions and where no traffic offense is suspected, as well as only five wildlife accidents without personal injury.

There have been a number of cases related to alcohol. Around 15 cases involve intoxication where some have been taken into custody according to the Law on Public Order and Security Act (LOB) while others have been given a ride home or been turned away from places.

07:00 Traffic accident, Linköping

A car drove into the guardrail on E4 in a southerly direction at Tallboda. There were no personal injuries but the road was closed for a while as the rescue service had to clear the car.
