The clock struck 17:13 when SOS alarms sounded for a traffic accident on county road 830 between Gnesta and Axala. Two passenger cars have collided head-on. By 17:26, the rescue service has closed the road completely.

Both drivers are out of their cars, awake and able to speak. Both will also be taken to the hospital.

Police suspect no crime in connection with the accident.

18:50: The accident is still affecting traffic as both cars need to be towed from the scene.
