Police are continuing to work with full force to investigate the matter regarding the injured man who was found at the hospital in Umeå last night.

Several investigative measures have been taken at various locations in Umeå, including searches and interrogations, and an area in Ålidhem has been searched with a dog. Police are also working with internal and external surveillance to gather as much information as possible about people and circumstances that may be connected to the current event.

The injured man remains at the hospital. According to the initial assessment, something of a violent nature was used when the injuries were inflicted. There are no details to be released regarding the man's condition. The information available at present suggests that the injuries are serious but not life-threatening.

Six people are being held on suspicion of attempted murder. Suspicion is the lower level of suspicion. The case is now being led by a prosecutor.
