Under the day, the police have controlled traffic in the region. Here follows a selection of results from these controls:

13:47 Bureå, Skellefteå: A fine was issued to a driver who drove 45 kilometers per hour on a 30-kilometer stretch. 

13:50 Järnvägstorget, Umeå city center: A fine was issued to a driver who ran a red traffic light.

14:08 E12 Tväråbäcksområdet, Vännäs: A fine was issued to a driver who drove 96 kilometers per hour on a 90-kilometer stretch.

14:28 Sågvägen/Umevägen, Lycksele: Ten drivers blew into the police's breathalyzer and were sober. Two flying inspections were conducted. Two fines were issued, one for speeding and one for unpaid vehicle tax.

17:00 Länsväg 365 Ruskträsk, Lycksele: Fines were issued to a truck driver as the vehicle has rear lamps that are out of function and for speeding. The driver has also not followed the current rules regarding driving and rest times. 

17:05 Skelleftevägen, Burträsk, Skellefteå: Two fines were issued for speeding offenses.
