The suspected rape has occurred in a rented apartment in southern Stockholm that is used on a short-term basis and is currently being used by women who are involved in prostitution.

A man who arrived at the apartment during the night is said to have assaulted and raped a woman.

Police have heard witnesses and conducted a technical investigation. The suspect has been traced and arrested.

The victim has been taken to hospital for a check-up.
