08:17 Police were initially alerted to an apartment building in Söder Huskvarna, Jönköping, to assist an ambulance with a medical matter. When the police patrol arrived at the residence, a suspected dangerous object was found. Since the police patrol was unable to determine the object as harmless, the national bomb protection has been called to the scene.

09:23 The national bomb protection is on the scene. Police are cooperating with rescue services and ambulance.

09:42 Two people, a woman in her 30s and a man in his 25s, were in the apartment when the police arrived. Both are suspected of preparation for public endangerment, crimes against the law on flammable and explosive goods, and narcotics offenses, possession. The man is arrested.
