
A single-vehicle accident has occurred on national road 50, near Bengtsheden.
SOS Alarm has received a report that a driver drove into a ditch. Initially, it was said that the vehicle had skidded, but the driver later stated that he had gotten his wheels to slip on account of muddy ground and driven into the ditch to avoid a collision with other vehicles.
The driver has managed to get out on his own. The road should not be blocked but drivers are asked to show respect and drive carefully past the accident site as long as work is ongoing.
Update 08.25: There is no suspicion of a crime and the incident is now over.
Further traffic accident, at 07.36:
Another single-vehicle accident has occurred, this time on E16 near Tallen. The driver lost control and drove into the median strip. No personal injuries reported. There is a lot of traffic on the site and a lot of snow. The Swedish Transport Administration will go out to plow. Until then, drivers are asked to adjust their speed and maintain a safe distance to avoid further accidents.
Update: There is no suspicion of a crime.
