The police are called to a residence on Brynäs in central Gävle after the public heard screams and commotion from a residence.

When the patrol arrives, two people are found injured on the scene. These people are taken to the hospital by ambulance, unclear extent of injuries.

One person is apprehended on the scene.

The residence is cordoned off pending technical examination. An investigation into attempted murder has been initiated.

The police are currently working on gathering information and part of that work involves the police conducting door-to-door checks in the area.
