Police are contacted after a resident at an address in Storvreta comes home and opens the door and meets at least two masked people who quickly leave the scene with a car.

Several patrols are ordered to the area to try to locate the fleeing vehicle.

When the patrol arrives at the scene, it is confirmed that something has happened inside the dwelling.

The patrol cordons off the villa in anticipation of a technical examination. It is currently unclear whether the perpetrators have taken anything from the dwelling. At present, there is no suspect in the case.

A report regarding a break-in and theft is drawn up.

The police are interested in any observations related to the incident. Especially interested in observations regarding a light grey rental car of newer model with stickers on the doors and rear window that left the eastern parts of Storvreta in an unknown direction.
