00:30 A person calls in about a car that is driving erratically and hazardously on Highway 40. The car is believed to have been involved in a wild animal collision, and also ripped down part of the wildlife fence along the road. The caller sees the car parked in Forserum and the patrol that arrives at the scene can confirm that the car is badly damaged. There are also beer cans on the floor. The driver, a man in his 35s, is located at a nearby residence and arrested. He blows positive, 1.2 promille, and is suspected of gross drunk driving, reckless driving, and fleeing the scene of a traffic accident. The driver's license is immediately seized.

03:09 A man in his 40s is assaulted by two other men in Österängen, Jönköping. He is not seriously injured. A report of assault is filed, but there is currently no suspected perpetrator.
