Assault on Väster
02:30, patrolling police patrol encounters a man who says he was subjected to assault on Väster in central Jönköping. Exactly what happened is unclear. However, the man follows the police to the hospital for a check-up. He is not believed to have been seriously injured. A report of normal-grade assault is established. 

Police have also handled cases related to intoxication and carried out various routine checks on their own initiative or following public alarm.
