Police receive calls from a driver who believes he has hit a wolf on E4. The accident is said to have occurred on E4 just north of Björklinge.

A police patrol and search party are ordered to the scene to inspect the animal, which turns out to be just a wolf.

The dead wolf, which is counted as the state's wildlife, is transported by hunters to the State Veterinary Institute (SVA) in Uppsala.
