Under Monday and Tuesday, several elderly frauds were reported to the police in Gävleborg.

On Monday evening, the police were alerted that a 75-year-old man in Ljusdal had been called by someone who claimed to be calling from the bank. The man was then robbed of his money. A report of fraud is being prepared.

At 3 pm on Tuesday, the police were alerted that an 80-year-old woman in Bollnäs had been a victim of fraud and had been robbed of her money. A report of serious fraud is being prepared.

At 5 pm on Tuesday, the next call came. A 65-year-old woman in Gävle had then been a victim of fraud. Someone had called the woman and tricked her into giving out bank information, and she was then robbed of her money. A report of fraud is being prepared.
