Under Monday, police are alerted to a residence following a report that a woman has been beaten by a man she has a close relationship with. The identified man is said to have hit her in the face and thrown a hard object that hit her on the head. This is not the first time the man has beaten the woman. Police arrive at the scene and hear the woman. The man had left the scene at the time but is later found in the vicinity and arrested on suspicion of assault. The woman did not need to seek hospital treatment as a result of the incident.
