February 17, 07.30, Summary of the night, Örebro County

It has been a relatively quiet night for the police in the region. Below follows a selection of incidents that the police have had to handle.

Karlskoga 05:27. Personal discovers that someone has broken into the municipality's premises in the Kilsta industrial area. Police who soon arrive search the premises but the thief/thieves had already left the scene. 

A white VW Pickup has been stolen as well as numerous clearing and chain saws. The car was found shortly after 07 near Frödingsparken. It is cordoned off to enable a technical inspection to be carried out.

Hallsbergs municipality 02:16. A police patrol stopped and checked a car on Rv52 where the driver, a man in his 60s, showed that he lacked a driver's license and blew positively. After having blown in the police's evidence instrument it was determined that the man had a blood alcohol concentration of at least 0.92 promille during driving. 

He is now suspected of reckless driving and gross unauthorized driving.

Örebro 02:40 A police patrol stopped a car in eastern Örebro. The driver was a man in his 25s who showed signs of drug influence. He was taken in for blood sampling and interrogation and is now suspected of driving under the influence of drugs and minor narcotics offense regarding personal use. The test results will show if he is guilty of a crime or not.
