Few people who live in Hammarby sjöstad with surroundings call the police after being woken up by a loud bang. 
Numerous residents can report that something appears to have exploded on Fartygsgatan where a door and several glass panes, both to the stairwell and surrounding apartments, have been destroyed. The police initiate an investigation into public destruction and early in the operation, a man is found and apprehended, but at the same time, the police continue their search in the area. 
The Rescue Service assesses that there is no risk of collapse.
