Just before eight o'clock this morning, information arrived about two snowmobiles ending up in a ditch in Kallsjön, Åre municipality. The rescue service has handled the matter and the police have assisted. The rescue service has dived and the police have flown over the area with a helicopter. No person was found in or near the water.

Shortly after the above matter, the police received information that some people may have entered a garage in the area without permission.

Police are heading out to work on the case, suspicion arises that the snowmobiles in the water may have been stolen. An investigation into theft is initiated.
A man in his 20s is found and arrested on suspicion of theft. He will be questioned.

The police are continuing to work on the case.
