Five people have been taken into custody for drunkenness. The police have also carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

01:25 Drunken driving, Arvidsjaur
Police check a car in Arvidsjaur. The driver, a man in his 30s, blows positively in the police's breathalyzer and further blood sampling is carried out. A report regarding gross drunken driving is to be drawn up.

A wildlife accident in Kiruna has been reported to the police during the night. There are no reports of personal injuries.
