
It has been a normal night in the region without any major incidents. Below follows a selection of cases that we have handled.
Fire, Karlstad kl. 22.43
There has been a fire in a piece of furniture in a residence in Sommaro. An 85-year-old woman who lived in the residence has been checked by ambulance personnel, but it is unclear if she needed to be taken to the hospital for treatment. The patrol will write a report on gross negligence.
Assault, Säffle kl. 00.27
A 20-year-old woman is suspected of assault on staff at a restaurant in the center. She was not allowed to stay inside the restaurant because she was being unpleasant and intoxicated and then became aggressive and violent towards two 20-year-old women who work at the restaurant. There is no information that any of the victims have sought emergency care.
Burglary, Lamberget kl. 00.40
One or more unknown people have been inside the motorway area. The police have been on the scene without finding any suspected individuals, but they are writing a report on unauthorized entry.
Knife law, Karlstad kl. 01.28
A 30-year-old man is suspected of a crime after staff at a restaurant in Tingvallastaden discovered that he had a knife on him and therefore called the police. The patrol is writing a report on a crime against the knife law.
Traffic offense, Kristinehamn kl. 02.09
A 15-year-old boy is suspected of unauthorized driving after being stopped by a patrol in Enserud in an A-tractor. The vehicle has been seized, among other things, to investigate if it has been manipulated to be able to drive faster than the legally allowed speed.
In addition, we have among other things checked 27 people or vehicles, taken a person into custody according to the Law on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons, handled a wildlife accident without personal injury, and handled five cases related to mental health.
