The police receive reports of a loud noise in the central parts of Ljusdal.  Several police patrols are alerted to the scene and can thanks to descriptions from the public begin the search for the suspected person. In the subsequent police work, a man in his 50s is then arrested, suspected of violating the firearms law. 

The man is now detained after contact with the prosecutor. An investigation has been initiated regarding violations of the firearms law as well as causing danger to others.
