Man arrested after a disturbance in his home environment
Just after midnight, police are contacted about a disturbance in a residence in southern Eskilstuna. It is unclear exactly what happened, but when the police patrol arrives, a calm situation prevails where no one has suffered serious injury. After further information gathering, it emerges that a man is alleged to have physically abused a woman he has a relationship with. He is also said to have behaved threateningly. The man, in his 40s, is arrested on suspicion of assault of a normal degree, unlawful threats, and child welfare offense. The suspect has been detained by the prosecutor during the night. 

In addition, the police have handled cases related to mental health, among other things, and made other routine checks on their own initiative or after public alarm.
